REASON offers superior customer service and support for every product it manufactures and sells. In addition, most desktop systems come with a limited Three-Year Parts and Labor Warranty. REASON also offers On-Site Support to customers in the Minnesota and Wisconsin regions.



REASON Computer provides a limited warranty on its computer system for a period of three years.  This three year limited warranty is subject to certain specific limitations outlined below.  This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the REASON computer system and is non-transferable.

This warranty only applies to the main computer system. The main computer system is defined as the cabinet, power supply, CPU board with CPU chip, memory devices, floppy disk drives, hard disk drives, standard video card, keyboards, mice, optical drives, serial and parallel port cards.  Customers have 10 working days after the purchase to make claims for missing items or incorrect equipment. All RMA returns must be complete with all original package materials and documentation. Any returns not meeting those conditions are subject to a "fitness" fee of $30 minimum.

YEAR ONE:               100% LABOR AND 100% OF THE PARTS that are part of the main computer system, as defined above.  Monitors, printers and other external items or peripherals are covered by their respective manufacturers' warranties. As a courtesy to its customers, REASON Computer will handle replacement of defective monitors, when the defect occurs within 30 days of the date of purchase.

YEAR TWO:              100% LABOR - 100% OF THE PARTS that are a part of the main computer system as defined above. Excluded are tape drives, keyboards, mice,  and any other items not defined as the main computer system or covered by their respective manufacturers' warranties.

YEAR THREE:           100% LABOR - 100% OF THE PARTS that are a part of the main computer systems as defined above.

Any component that fails under this warranty can be repaired or replaced at REASON's sole discretion with a similar or equivalent component.  This replacement in no way extends the original system warranty beyond the original term from the original date of the system purchase.  Any failure caused by abuse, misuse, or installation of any component into the computer system not supplied by REASON shall void this warranty.

REASON warrants the computer system to be compatible with the general industry standard for a Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista and REASON approved versions of Linux. REASON is not responsible for specific software programs, loss of customer data, their performance, or problems related to running the software. The warranty for compatibility includes only the current version of the MS Windows operating system at time of purchase. It specifically does not include future revisions of the operating system.  Furthermore it is the customers responsible to maintain current backups of their software to protect themselves in the event of a data storage device failure. REASON will give assistance to the customer in determining what constitutes adequate data backup, but REASON is in no way liable for the loss of data, nor the recovery of lost data.  REASON is responsible to provide support for Microsoft operating systems for 30 days from the date of shipment.  Damage to the computer caused by flood, lightning, fire or other acts of God are not covered by this warranty.

REASON offers a 60-day money back guarantee with no restocking fee.  The first 30 days of this policy are with no questions.  The second 30 days if there is a quality or compatibility issue that REASON cannot resolve.  In any instance, any returns must be in "like new" condition, must be complete with all original package materials and documentation. Any returns not meeting those conditions are subject to a "fitness" fee of $30 minimum.

Should a system be returned to Depot for warranty repair, REASON will do all within its power to examine and repair the returned system within 48-hours.  Repaired systems will be shipped back to customer via ground service at REASON’s expense.  Any expedited shipping charges will be the client’s responsibility.  Shipping charges for system back to REASON is client’s responsibility.  REASON is also open to providing parts only for replacement by client as part of the depot limited warranty.  All defective parts must be returned to REASON upon replacement.  

This document is the only warranty for this product.  REASON is not subject to any other warranty or to any other warranty statement made orally or in written form by any REASON employee.  REASON makes no warranty as to the merchant ability, fitness for a particular purpose, nor any other expenses or implied warranty.  REASON Computer reserves the right to make changes in this warranty without giving prior written notice.
